I'm a Writer. My life since retirement has revolved around writing. I specialize in Sci-fi and Fantasy but also will take on other genres like Biographies and Doctoral Thesis generation. I try to put out a couple volumes every 90 days. I have a favorite storyline that I'm working on right now that is called The Rhumgold Sagas (contains 30 books of which 13 are finished and a couple are close to being in publishable condition). In December 1992 I had to submit my Senior Thesis to my advisor at Memphis State's University College. The University College was for mature students who transferred in with more than half of the credits they would need for graduation. They then were allowed to choose their courses and design their own degrees. My degree centered around courses I thought I would need for a Writing degree. To cap the experience we had to produce a Senior Project that reflected what we had learned. I decided to produce two Student Guides for the courses Faith/Reason & Imagination and Greek/Hebrew Legacy. My advisor was Dr. Bill DeLoach. He was tough and meticulous.

In 1993 the Internet wasn't yet available as it is today and I had a decision to make. I finally settled on doing 'hardcopy' of my manuscripts and produced Study Guides for the suggested courses, gleaning information and suggestions from my classmates. We detailed our best thoughts for how the courses should be approached and finally produced 2 documents that we considered an accurate view of the courses.

Dr. DeLoach said the project needed a publication platform and considered it a shame that that platform wouldn't be available for a number of years in the future. His advice was to wait and thoroughly use the Internet when it became available for use by the common man. That I have done. Dragon's Breath Publishing came out of our conversations. I self-publish and include specific authors in the process. This website is a celebration of Dr. Bill DeLoach and his tireless efforts to raise our level of intellect and heightened appreciation for what went before us. Thank you, Sir!

I began writing fiction in 1989 when I was getting ready to retire from the Navy. My first story was written for my young daughter, Tanitha, and was about a man who is sitting in his den one night and witness his daughter, Lesa, and her cat, Pazee as they materialized out of the wall. He went slightly off the deep end and eventually had to team with his wife to defeat an invasion of Earth. Many more books have followed and there are approximately 75 books on Amazon written by me and a handful of other authors. My slogan is: Read & Enjoy!
